| Noah Purifoy was an artist who created large-scale assemblages for decades. After living in Los Angeles for many years (he served as the first administrator of the Watts Towers Arts Organization) he moved to Twentynine Palms in the early 90's. Since his death in 2006 (I think) a trust has kept up this Outdoor Desert Museum of his sculptures. From the looks of it, new work may be under way... |
